Transformation Tuesday: Eating Clean

SUMMERTIME, the living is easy & the produce is fresh.

I’ve been working on my summer bod for quite some time now (ok maybe not quite some time, just 6 weeks to be exact) but I am overly ecstatic about summer produce. I mean the secret to a lean body is eating green! … Right?!

After years of honing my clean eating grocery shopping skills I’ve decided to share with you all my grocery shopping list.

SHOPPING TIP: Always start in the produce section.

Damsel No Distress Clean Eating Grocery List:

fruits & veggies:
bananas, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, avocados, romaine lettuce, carrots, spinach, cucumbers, corn, bell peppers, tomatoes, lemons/limes, watermelon, spaghetti squash, garlic, onions, ginger root

diary:
unsweetened almond milk/2% low fat milk, sharp white cheddar cheese, Greek yogurt (100 cal), cage free brown eggs

grains:
whole grain bread, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat tortillas, brown rice, old fashioned oatmeal

meats:
chicken breast, ground turkey, tuna in water, low sodium sliced deli meat, wild caught salmon

other:
siracha hot sauce, extra virgin olive oil, thyme, oregano, cilantro, agave nectar, raisins, crystal light drink mix, peanut butter, vanilla whey protein, mustard, light mayo, almonds, air popped pop corn, black beans
